More about Colleen Waterston:
Driven by curiosity for global perspectives, Colleen Waterston designed a travel adventure around asking people the same three questions to better understand the shared values and issues in our world.
- What does a good life mean to you?
- In your opinion, what is the biggest threat to humanity today?
- What do you think the world will be like 50 years from now?
Colleen visited 40 countries, asked these three questions to over 700 people, and wrote their answers in 10 bright red moleskin notebooks. She then meticulously transcribed them into a spreadsheet which had been methodically coded. This analysis forms the foundation of the story of Colleen’s travels and transformation in her book Big Shared World.
